If you don't already know me, my name is Shauna. I'm 24 years old, born and raised in Alberta. I love being a Canadian. I'm kind of a grammar geek and really enjoy learning new languages. I have a Bachelor of Nursing degree from The University of Lethbridge and someday I hope to be a teacher.

I'm living in Crowsnest Pass right now, but I've been in Calgary for about a month staying at my parents house. There's not much to do in the pass so I haven't really been looking forward to going back. I'm waiting for my Yaktrax to arrive so that I can go hiking and running to give me something to do. I would just stay in Calgary, but it seems weird to pay rent and not live at the house. I don't make enough money for that right now. Anyway, these Yaktrax are probably going to be the best thing I ever buy so I'm pretty excited. I'm not especially fond of January and I think these will help a lot.

Santa and the Birthday and Grad Fairies brought me a Garmin nüvi® 765T this December 25th, so I'm pretty excited to try it out. Admittedly I've only driven my car about twice since then and I haven't gone farther than a few block to actually warrant bringing the GPS. I trust it will come in handy on my next road trip, though.

I pretty much forget everything else I was going to say, so I'll leave it at that. Happy Sunday!
